can anyone help how can I not see my pencil smear on my deck planking ,thanks

I totally agree with Jim that scrapers are the way to go. Not just for decks, but for the hull as well. The thought of a slice in my fingers from the double edged scares me, it really does, so I went to stiff back blades rather than double edged, but builder's choice as always. I do bend some to create a bit of a curve as needed.

A very good way is also to use fibreglass erasier - they are working somehow like scrapers, but you come into every small edge

The trouble with these is the tiny fibre glass particles that wear off can penetrate your fingers, unless you wear disposable gloves. Both uncomfortable! It's more like fibre glass dust.

o great thank you very much I was thinking about tap the hole deck for a while until the canons,
