Soleil Royal Ornaments and figurines for 3d print

Lovely..Wojtek.. Hopefully in my time .complete carving upgrades will be offered for scratchbuilder or those wishing to upgrade from those brittania pieces... I've been happy with the pearwood carvings from China I see another cottage industry on the Horizon..Chuck is doing some great stuff as well at Syren

Hello @manning16
I haven't decided whether I'm going to sell it. These decors aren't designed to fit into kits that are aviable for Soleil Royal. You can make a stern section, but fitting them to kit might be a problem. Plans for SR don't fit kit plans, to make a whole model new bulkheads are required. But this is only case for Tanneron's SR

Yes ..it would be nice to buy all the carvings for a ship in a given scale, then use monograph to build..levels from beginner to expert..there are a few people doing upgrades for Victory, etc ,as well as the cottage industries starting up like Chuck Passaro and others.. interesting times..To be clear, I still love the pearwood carvings, but if one can even replace the hideous metal castings in a kit, that would be nice. Some are developing entire bow/stern 3- d assays, Pandora for example..but they again serve a purpose... not a fan personally..ordered that kit for a friend..impressive..so now we have Orthodox builders, 3D carvers, hybrid builders..all good!

Hello
Helm part plus some other elements are finished. Firstly I wanted to divide it into 3 segments, but I kept getting print fails so eventually I decided to print it as one piece. All decors stick out even more then Heller's mold so there will be no problem in painting them. At this stage I need to finish designing the stern structure as it's needed to properly align balconies and cupid decor at the bottom

Certainly it's not easy otherwise everyone would be making them. On the other hand it's easy and very pleasant for me. I know it's not 100% accurate but even with some shortcuts it's much better then what I could sculpt with my own hands.

I depends how detail you want to get it. One could make a whole model in year or two other won't finish a stern in that time, but when you comapre them you see the time to make all the details was worth it

New version of Blender - 4.5 is published if someone is interested:D
