Soleil Royal

Sorry for the upside down Sovereign of the Seas.....

No problem, I fixed it for you. If you look at the bottom left of every post, there is a link to "Attachment editor". You can go there and rotate any image that doesn't come out right. It's a common problem, especially when taking photos with cell phones.

Anyway, wow! What great models! Now we definitely want you to start a build log for the SR! :D

Hi Guillaume,
I'm going to follow you with the SR. It is one that is on the shelf/box as a present of my wife 2 years ago.
I have to finish some other models first.
Good luck and suc6. Thumbsup

Thanks for fixing the image and the advices! talk to you soon on the forum..

Hey Guillaume,

I'm curious to see how you'll build the SR. It's also on my long list of models that I'd really like to build! I really hope to have more time for this hobby soon. I wish you every success with your project and welcome you to SoS... :D Thumbsup

You look like a very clean builder, and I look forward to seeing what you do with this kit. There are several really good builds of this kit on SOS. On the one hand, there is the magnificent and heavily modified take by Nigel Brooks. And then there is another favorite of mine by Koedec, who makes some really nice modifications and additions. There’s tremendous latitude, here, to build a nice model. I’m not a fan of the stock kit, per se, but I have been impressed with what good builders can do with it.
