Its convection windmill. Usually 4 candles for advent, one additional candle lit each week (on Sunday) leading up to Christmas. We had oe when my dad was stationed in Germany. Its a take off from the advent wreath. Rising heat from the candles, cause the vanes to spin and in this model, the disks in the gazebo also spin along.I know not ship related.... but does anyone know any thing about something like this.? Been going through generations of stuff at moms house.....says germany 1965

Thank you,,, mother is german. Born Liepzig.@Philski is explaining the mill absolutely correctly
I can say it - I am german
only: four candles were not a "must" - the number of candles has nothing to do with the four weeks before christmas, so you find a lot of them with different nzumber of candles 3, 4, 5, or 6 or even more
"Weihnachtspyramide" is the german term for this nice piece

Hallo @debaucheryI know not ship related.... but does anyone know any thing about something like this.? Been going through generations of stuff at moms house.....says germany 1965
