Thanks guys :) you'll never guess just dropped a dummy gun barrel into the gunnels of the ship and can't get it out......but just counted the barrels supplied and I think there is a few spare, perhaps mike could verify this.
 
Not sure but I kept a few of my gun ports closed owing to my planking ineptness so if you like to PM me an address I will happily post you a couple (maybe even 3) in case you do it again. By way of comfort for you I also have one rattling around inside the hull. Should anyone ever query it I will say it is loose ballast!!!

it's hard to explain, but I had a whole side of cannons that popped out because of the way they were held inside. I had to remove the deck and start those guns over. It was bad. Actually now that I think about it, I had to remove two decks.
