Hi, my kit is missing a couple of pieces of wood. I need 2 lengths of 2mm x 6mm Walnut. I can't go back to supplier as I purchased the kit over 20 years ago and only just now getting it done.
I can order online for just over $1 a length but supplier needs $20 postage. They're not that far away but won't deal with public at premises due to insurance reasons - I think they work from home. Any folk from Sydney on board that can help out with some info?

Try Aliexpress on line, They have everything and very cheap. It could however take an average of 4 weeks to receive

You should check out ZHL models in China they have an excellent selection of timber and do great online ordering to Australia.
You might want to consider buying a few other items/ fittings they sell to make the freight cost worthwhile.

Thanks. Aliexpress was minimum 10 pieces for AUD$27.99 plus $3.18 postage.
Plus I can select some hobby knife blades as a free gift.

Thanks. ZHL was minimum 25 pieces for AUD $21.84 plus $29.64 postage.

Frontline Hobbies in Newcastle has 2x6 walnut, unfortunately sold out. If you have a Senior's Opal card it's only $6.50 (I think) return on the train, easy walking distance from Broadmeadow. Give them a call, they might have stock coming in.

It's actually $2.50 return for Seniors so that would have been a nice day out. Unfortunately Frontline say they are not getting anymore stock in.
