Stadt von Bremen- remade to Utrecht Statenjacht 1746 1/50

Hi JZD, I am interested in the Dutch Stanjacyacht Building one BY DUSEK MODELS DOING OK, would like to do one as a POF build, but interested in the other EUROPEAN YACHTS, got one of the swedish YACHT FROM ZHL, was really disapointed in that one MAINLY DUE TO THE PLANS AND INSTRUCTION, also on the 4H site they show a model OF THE ONEDIA WOULD VERYMUCH LIKE TO SEE THAT, AND IF THEY HAVE A JIG FOR IT. THANKS Don
Yes,I know the Dusek kit,it is a nice kit,but I really do not like the resin parts.
It was the reason why I did not buy that one.
And also I did not wanted to paint the model.

Yes the resin parts are not the same as the wood carving I chose to paint some of the items on the model, STAINED THE PLANKING a MIN WAX RED ELM GEL STAIN AND OTHER PARTS, will send you a picture of it, Don

So how did they catch you?

Ahoy ADC,I wasn't really hiding,I don't feel I have to,cause I did nothing wrong.
I just simply bought a Chinese kit because I liked the design, nothing wrong with that!
I did use the same Nick name there, but I havent posted any builld logs pictures or so.
Somebody reported me,or the Master himself did that.

Ok guys ,lets go back to serious ship model building, just look around ,all these wonderfull kits are waiting,we don’t have time to play around with kids. :D

Thanks John,I am just worried It won't be that nice, It is only my 2 ship model but I am still learning from my mistakes, the 1 thing I really don't like is the hull planking! So time consuming and still not doing it right.
I do have another ship, but I really do not want to mess it up.
Its the Friedrich Wilhelm zu Pferde, much bigger model

Is it the Euro model kit of the Friedrich Wilhelm zu Pferde, I'm about halfway through building it, although I ended up scratch building it and using their decorations,
it is the third one down in my signature, click on it and it will take you to my build log,

best regards John.

What a beautiful carvings, the man is an artist.
Realy stunning. Looking forward to your build.
Have been looking this week to the pegasus jacht, what a gem is that, even all interior below deck is added, this model is hitting the top of my lust when it comes to the market.

Where did you see the model?

Hi John, mine is based on plans from Carta Augusto, it is an older company I am guessing but not bad at all.Lot of decoration all over the ship, but as I said,I am not rushing with this one.received_10206529403889260.jpegreceived_10206529413209493.jpeg20180123_082316.jpgreceived_10209332345361045.jpegreceived_10209332342280968.jpeg

Carta Augusto? Never heard of them. Must be a very old kit.

I've got the FWzP plans in Heinrich Winter's book and they are very similar to these.

We can for this time of the construction of the original ship see the ship only on old paintings, because original drawings are most of the time not existing. So very often older plans are only interpretations.
If it is helping I could search in my library if I can find something in addition about the original ship
