Steam tug Edna G of 1896 1:32

Apologies, I haven't posted in quite a while. Much progress has been made and I hope to enter her in the May 2026 Midwest Model Ships & Boats contest, coming up soon~ Meanwhile, here are some pix of the float testIMG_9162.jpeg- no leakage was detected, and all the machinery and a 12 oz soda can to represent boiler water- decks and superstructure will be kept pretty light.IMG_9168.jpegIMG_9160.jpeg
 
I’ve been bad about posting, I’m currently working on lights and deck fittings; and have entered her in the Midwest Model Ships & Boats 2026 show in mid May! Some relatively recent images of the pilot house work and some 3d printed detail pieces.

We are in Two Harbors and hope to tour the Edna G this weekend during Two Harbors Heritage Days.
