Today an idea hit me in regards to measuring.
Years ago in carpentry a fellow taught me how to use what’s called a story stick. I won’t go into details as one can read about them on the internet.
In short it’s a length of wood that one can put tick marks on.
So I laid this on the plans and marked out the location of the gun ports. I then clamped it to one side of the model and now had the exact locations as per the plans. Accurate and easy.
No dividers, shaky hands or anything else.
