Swordfish 1851 Restoration

Started back in January 2022 - Completed Sept. 15th. Model is the Swordfish of 1851 by Marine Model Company from approx. 1940 (inside box was paper explaining no fittings due to materials shortage - Pre-War). Model was built by customers grandfather but badly handled and stored for many, many years. Restoration took 9 months. Customer could not believe the restored look.

Well done indeed!! Reminds me of before and after hurricane damage in some Age of Sail books I have read!

That is what I need to complete on my first kit, the Phantom, had damage in storage.

I have gotten her cleaned up just need to get to work on restoration.
