Are any of you familiar with tagua? It’s a nut that is also known as vegetable ivory. It occurs to me that some of you highly skilled wood carvers could use this for modeling. Going to try to attach photo showing a nut and a carving done by indigenous peoples.IMG_3767.jpeg

Tagua was in use for making buttons and such before the arrival of cheap plastics. I checked and tagua nuts are available on Amazon
