One additional method I'd like you to try is uploading your images using the "Attach files" button versus simply by dragging and dropping the images directly into the posting area. Both options are valid, but they might give us some additional clues as to why orientation issues members have encountered.Hi Jim,
What is happening is that images that have been properly oriented before uploading are getting turned during the upload. I haven't needed to use the attachment editor until this week. It's not hard to fix the turned images - just an extra step that wasn't ever needed previously.
That's the way I do it now...One additional method I'd like you to try is uploading your images using the "Attach files" button versus simply by dragging and dropping the images directly into the posting area. Bingo! Thank you, mon ami. I think we pinpointed the issue. Not sure if it is a software issue or a combination of software and cameras\phones. But...you can use the Drag & Drop feature for now, until we troubleshoot the issue with 'Attaching files'.That's the way I do it now...
I just attached this image using the 'attach file' button:

This one I dragged over:

I didn't bring this issue to Donnie - I was just making the correction using the editor. But when I saw Donnie posting test images, I thought I was being helpful by affirming there had been a change in the forum functionality. I personally don't care if it just stays the way it is.
