I will thank the forum, for I have no better enjoyment in the late evening to enjoy what everyone has been up to in the past 24hrs. Aside from reading great historical novels and researching my current and future builds, there is nothing, to include the idiot box, to attract my attention, except what the First Mate says.
 
I would like to say thank you because there is always support here and the way we treat each other is respectful and appreciative.
Thanks also to the hard-working, quiet, very committed people in the background who keep the forum running and make it possible for us model builders to exchange ideas in such a fine form
 
I'd also add my thanks and appreciation to Donnie and the other people to keep the site working. I was sad this week to see hat Donnie had to delete some posts and shut down comments because things got political and personal in some posts. I think we should be focusing on what brings us together which is our hobby and interest in ships and not worry about artificial differences we've created over ideology.
 
Having an outlet to ask questions that ‘the public’ would find, well, odd, is invaluable. There is a store of knowledge here that needs to be preserved. Where else would you find discourse on the spacing of trenails, let alone be able to share good natured salty banter? - also good natured fresh water banter of course - let no one call me a saltist.
 
Donnie and other admins are best group around to help us out and provide encouragement to new builders to help improve their skills by learning both the language and art of model ship building of all types.
