Indeed, these are common tools that are widely used by coastal commanders. However, they are high-risk tools that can only be used with a high degree of cunning.

Ahrrr I already got one hook from me requisitioning some of me Admirals wares.
ROFL ! would be risking getting keel-hauled if I used one of the kitchen forks and torture followed by a slow agonizing death if I used our good silverware !

very cool! that should help me greatly as im in the process of making hanks by the dozens. its been a struggle and ive made jigs using nails but its not easy getting the final loops done. your genious idea will make this chore much easier.
