It can be either I have been toying with the idea of making it fully rc but that's a long way down the line.

Peter, take it from an avid RC ship builder of many years. Don't leave it too long to decide whether to make the model RC or static. There are a lot of machinery supports and frame adjustments that need to be done now before you go too far with the planking or sheeting. This is a beautiful model, and you are doing a great job of building her. Thanks for sharing your project with us.

As I have started the fore deck I will be adding to it first of all the three steam winches.

Good morning Peter. Wow…I had to read that more than once..6 Feet long. That is so cool- I want one . The steam winches and decking look great, off to a wonderful start. I have a feeling this build may take you a while. I am with Paul here, it is awesome that the kit breaks down the individual parts of the winches. Cheers Grant

I have found a bit time to do a bit more this time at the bow and constructing the bow anchor well and fitting the stem post

That's 'A' Deck planked and finished

Fore and aft decks are in place just the sanding of the frames at the bow and stern and I will be ready to start planking the Hull
