I am building the billing boats titanic and wondering if anyone can recommend a match for the trainer yellow (13), any advice very greatly received.

Color was "White Star Buff." Check out the link below to scalemates. In fact, your choice will depend on the scale (smaller scales need more faded colors), the lighting where you will display the model, and how it looks to your eye. Fair winds!
