Many thanks, Knut for sharing "how to" information! The mage , before the last one, has a grease on top of the Plexiglas? What is it, and why do you need one? Can you explain?

JIM, simply because the original screws are too short, so I glued it on.
The red original plate is 1.5 mm too low for the table.

Your Scheppac table saw looks just like mine - all guides, guards etc stripped off as they broke, got wobbly or just fell off. However, it is still useable with care and (so far) I still have all my fingers.
