An aside to the footnote on Hunter Thompsom -
1. I think that I could not consume anywhere near as much booze as Hunter Thompson could consume in order to arrive in anywhere near the condition he describes in order to traverse sideways.
2. Hunter Thompson was a unique individual who died much too soon depriving us of more
of his somewhat oblique insights into wordly affairs.
3. We would all be a bit better-off if he had drunk a bit less and hung around a bit longer. His writings are worth reading. Hunter told the truth, could not be bought and was not an ideolog.
He was the opposite of fake news. He also had absolutely nothing to do with ship modeling.
