Today at 13h it was exactly 213 years ago that the Battle of Trafalgar took place and we know how that glorious victory over the English navy fleet over the French and Spanish coalition.
213 years ago, Admiral Nelson also died in this sea battle

Thanks for posting this Willy, there has been no mention of the Battle of Trafalger here in the media but there again we are not allowed to mention victories like this in case someone, in this case the French, get offended. There have been calls to rename Waterloo Railway Station in London for this very same reason. What is funny is that the French and the Spanish were allies at Trafalger but a few years later the British and the Spanish would be allies fighting against the French when Napoleon invaded Spain.
Cheers Andy

You're absolutely right Andy, the history is what it is and a victory has to be celebrated, and if you think someone will object to it then they just have to burn all the history books so that they can not be talked about or read .
if it goes on like that, within a few decades they will no longer be talking about the great war and its victory, what will always be someone who will object.
Hopefully with this writing I do not hurt anyone here, otherwise they take it away.
Greetings
Willy
