Training ship Urania

Build in 1830 at the Navy yard in Amsterdam. 10 guns. 278 ton displacement. Dimensions.: 28.50 x 7.90 M x 2.80 M. 15 april 1833 in service Royal Netherlands Navy.

Intended for cruising homewaters with cadets of the Navy Institute at Medemblik. When in 1868, a new Urania entered service she was renamed Astrea.
In 1888 she was stricken.
