Triangle links

Anybody know what a triangle link is? On my Rattlesnake plans it shows the longboat being tied down and using triangle links. I've been searching
the internet far and wide with no luck.

I'm not sure what they are referring to but my first thought was perhaps they mean triangular deadeyes.

Maybe rope goes over the boat both 90 straight across and diagonal. Such triangle rings are even used today http://www.allmarinesupply.com/prod...nless-SteelTriangleLoop316WireDia1InsideWidth

They don’t give you that in the kit?

I believe that is something you have to make from the piece of 1/32 brass rod that is included in the kit. Not sure as I haven't started on my Rattlesnake yet, but that would seem to make sense to me.
