Yeah, Agora is more expensive than others (Deagostinni for example). I have experience with currently subscribing to one Deagostinni vehicle in Europe, and you are right, I get a nice magazine with articles related to the vehicle plus building instructions each month. I like the concept and the magazine. I wish we could get that here in Canada, but I would not hold my breath for that. It’s a tiny market for them, EU is huge…..
Yes I thought DeAgostini had the same program, and went belly up a few years ago leaving a lot of Modelers in the dark. Agora Models looks mighty similar BEWARE!!!!!

Unique Shipyard Construction Technique? It just looks like an ordinary POB model that someone got tired of planking.

I am just finishing up the hull on my POF Occre Victory. I am no expert, but the Agora ships are made by Occre. Watch John Aliprantis' Agora build log on Youtube & then compare to Wolfgang Zinn's who is building the Occre Victory. Same kit.

I agree with Jeff, it's not worth the $1800. Wait until Black Friday & you can buy 2 very nice ships for that price. Although, definitely not a beginners kit, I am a beginner. I am challenged every step of the way, and I am having a BLAST building it. If it weren't for Youtube and SOS, I would not even attempt such a project.

I also agree, if you decide on that ship, buy the whole kit at once.
