this is an original Unimat made in Austria
checking Ebay the price range is from $1,000 to $1,500 BUT these machines look to be in very good condition

this has been sitting in a barn for 15+ years with years of dust and grime and some surface rust.

i did plug it in and it works just fine

there are no pully belts

i have used this lathe for milling and lathe work and it is a precision machine

the images are high resolution so click on them to take a close look. what you see is what you get.

do your own research and make an offer

if you are interested send me a PM with your zip code and i will check the shipping via pirate ship which is usually 1/2 the postage or UPS costs.

what i will do is post the highest offer after a few days not the person just the offer just in case someone wants to counter offer.

the machine needs to be restored perhaps taken apart and cleaned up

What a find! First order of business for me would be to replace the cord, switch and plug, but that wouldn’t make me hesitate a second if I came across one (unlikely in Japan  )

These charming and useful devices are surprisingly common.
Worth keeping an eye out at yard/boot sales.
Both these came my way like that, in good condition, just needed stripping and cleaning, came up like new. A simple task.
Rusty examples can provide spares, otherwise avoid them.

Yours are beautiful machines, Pugwash.
