United States Bluenose ordering help and advice..

I am in Bealeton, CT. I sent a PM with my address..
The Kit was/is about $270 without shipping... I would pay you the same.

Thank you Guy. I am sure that will help Matty.
Can't you buy it in the States? That's the whole reason for the tariffs, to get you to buy American instead of foreign. It takes some shopping around but if foreign quality is so much better than local I'd love to see you write an account of this and post it here. Stuff isn't cheap here either anymore. Imagine, $15 an hour for bagging grocies or flipping burgers. That is pure inflation in any language.

You can find all the build logs here of this Bluenose kit

Butterfingers, Are you still interested in selling to me? If not I will wait for the YuanQing seller.
Best regards

Guy

@Norgale Mr Norgale

First off, the model is designed and manufactured in China. it is also the only POF model of Bluenose that exists in kit format. I initially got involved with Bluenose to help modelers from all over the world outside of China to obtain a model that they want to buy.

In the past, members would supply me with their full name, physical address (to which the kit needs to be delivered), Postal Code, telephone number and e-mail address. (The last two details are required by the courier company。) Upon receipt of that, YuanQing would send the customer a PayPal Bill (including shipping costs) and once payment had been received, the kit would ship out the next day. To date I have helped more than 70 SOS members and numerous members on MSW to obtain the kit - all without receiving a single cent for it.

The U.S. government has officially enforced the new regulations since July 8th. The purchaser needs to personally declare customs clearance, that is, the declaration of the HS CODE (Customs Code). Only when the customer has obtained this code and communicated it to YuanQing, can the company proceed with issuing the PayPal bill and arrange for shipping. Those are the facts.

Now who do you think you are to expect me to justify the superior quality of the product compared to one that is sold in the USA? Speak to the members who have built it and speak to those who still want to order the kit - but mostly speak to all the US kit manufacturers and ask them to justify to you why they are not producing any POF models of Bluenose. - or conversely - not stocking the kit.

Lastly, please learn the facts before you write on a topic that you clearly know nothing about.
