This is my first attempt at a ship model. I have decided to go with the new aft midship, 1:48 cross section of the USS Bonhomme Richard, by Unicorn models in pearwood. I suspect I will be very slow! Any thoughts / suggestions will be greatly welcomed. I have read through the various other excellent builds of this model and watched the video tutorial series from Unicorn models - all of which will be very useful.
The kit itself is excellent, well packed and shipping was very quick. To start with I have assembled the shipyard which went together easily. I will start with the assembly of the keel & rising wood next.
