I thought it could be a quick way to get the stitches lined up. It works great except you have to get the paper out without tearing it up. That’s why we try things out on practice material i guess.Pretty sure the template is just for cutting the sail out buddy...but you know that now.
This one is too frayed to use. I think I’ll have to use the glue before I soak it to provide some shape.Yeah buddy, some things we learn by mistakes unfortunately. Id soak it some more water to get the rest of the paper off that one.
just use some ca glue to seal the edges of the sail material.

what is the recipe for the bees was turpintineBest us to use beewax with turpentine available via furniture shops. A lipbalsem will never harden and will allways atract dust.
None of your beeswax, Smelly! (I've been dying for a chance to say that.) My guess is it comes already mixed. I have some mixed with some kind of oil that I got at Home Depot. I didn't care for it much because it was messy and didn't get much wax on the thread. The thread didn't harden.what is the recipe for the bees was turpintine
