I noticed the new model of the USS Providence available from Dry Dock. I seems interesting and I'm considering purchasing a kit. Since the hull is essentially one piece when the two parts are glued together and the other components are premade the assembly would be simple and straight forward. It's relatively inexpensive and looks great in the photos on the web site. It would be a nice starter kit.
