Needed a set of revised masts and antennas for a 1/72 Virginia Class Block V model I'm in the process of delivering in two scales, including 1/144. The majority of these details won't show up in the smaller scale, but I like keeping my 3D model library stocked with any mast or antenna carried by any US nuke, so modeling larger insures all the detail is available.

If all goes well, it might end up on public display when completed. The Block V boats carry an additional four-tube missile compartment with a low-slung turtleback superstructure, of which there are no existing photos. There are couple of contradicting renders, which aren't accurate enough to waste throwing design time on a guess.

Since the boat is two years out from completion, (it also sports a new, vertical sonar array fairing as well, that may, or may not match one tested on a Trident hull) I'm waiting for some construction and roll-out photos to wrap the job up. The sail and masts and antennas are a safe bet for now.

As it comes together, I'll post updates, like this Rev 4 set which I'll call good enough and stick a fork in it.
