What Vallejo paint line Model Air or Model Color would give me the most uniform finish with a paint brush?

Not sure what you're painting but it has been my experience with Vallejo paints that they all work great with a paint brush regardless of what color I've used. Some lighter colors might require more than one coat but coverage is good and brush strokes are not really visible unless you're viewing them under a magnifying glass.

I have similar experience with vallejo. Maby on bigger flat surfaces there can be a bit of a problem with brushstrokes beeing visible. But on say a sailingship with planks etc I don´t think it should be a problem.
 
My problem with Vellejo paints the one time i tried them was how do you apply the paint from the little bottle and mine was so thick could not spread it, would use them if I knew how. Thanks Don

That's simple Don. The tip is removable. Just take it between your fingers and apply a little bit of leverage from side to side as you pull up on it and you can rock it such that it will come right out. Toss it and you've now got a normal bottle of paint that you can dip the paint brush into. They also make a special solvent for Vallejo paints.

You might be surprised by my answer, but I also use Folkart paint as it comes in hundreds of shades. It is a plain water based that you can water down to suit your needs. I have found that enamel on plastic parts will have tendency to streak whereas the paint into or on wood will soak in evenly.

Just google Folkart paint.
