Recently someone posted a note in one of the HMS Victory build logs, in which they showed their having soldered a pin/nail, etc. to a hammock crane (HC) to better secure the HC to the gunwales of the ship. Can someone help me find that post as I need to see how it was done. I am trying to do that but I cannot get my solder joints to hold up sufficiently or at all. Thanks in advance.
