Made some progress. Here are the pictures.
I Do not know the names of the pieces of wood at the frontside that are bent ( the dark and the white ones)sorry. They where pre made in the kit from plywood and broke easyaly so made them myself. Before i cut the lasercut pieces i scan the whole plate with my printer and print out the copy incase i have to make it again or if i want to build the boat again. I also keep theplate of wood where in cut it out so i can remake everything. Hope the built is a bit oké its Just my second built so learning a lot again. My eyes are not that good any more because 2 years ago i lost eyesight with in 2 days because of medicine use. Had 2 eye oparations in 6 weeks. So had to Let painting Go and into building boats now. Tnx for watching

Here little update. Worked 2 weeks on wilhelm and now for a change on the trinidad again. Been bussy with the cabins and little things on the deck. Was almost done with the cabines but then the book said to paint some wood with gold paint and also the top carving on the cabin. Didnt like it so chanced the whole cabin. Still need to perfection it. Also my wife ordered the San pelipe for me at zhl .tnx for watching .

Its a bit dissapointing that the brass on the Stern has to be painted. I would like to make it from wood but the drawings dont show the Stern and the drawings are not scale 1 on 1. Tried to trace it but its so small that it didnt worked. Anyone has a solution?

Little update. Made the Stern. Just a piece of flat brass that you have to paint. Lanterns. Also working on the life boats. The wood from the occre kit is rubbish. It breaks is not straight so i made my one from my own wood and the drawings from the wilhelm. They are almost same size. Making the parts from tracing the inside of the wood i cut out from the trinidad kit. Hope i can start today with the felipe from zhl . I will build the felipe in my shipyard and do the last little things of the trinidad in the livingroom. When trinidad is finnished in will get the wilhelm to work on in between. Also making carving for the stern of wilhelm tnx for watching .

Hello Pat
Very nice work on your horse carving, it sure does look great from here. I will soon be giving this type of carving for the stern decorations on my Oliver Cromwell. Practice for the figurehead that is much more complex. How do you keep track of building 3 ships at the same time when I have more than my hands full on just one ship at a time? ENJOY.

Regards Lawrence

Carving was my first attempt on my millingmachine. Used the wrong kind of wood... its to soft and breaks easy as i experianst. Gonna make other one from better wood. Good lesson. I work on more than one ship because when i have to do tiny things i sometimes get stressed and my body doesnt make the hormones to stop the stress. So then i change the ship. I cant Go out of my house a lot so when i can i build.

Still working on the Stern. Not all is glued yet. Its almost time to fit the mermaids and the rest of the decoration. Also made couple of cannonports.
