Virginia 1819 questions

Hello everyone, I’m brand new to the forum and ship building. I have a question about the build and I’m sure there will be a few more to come.
I got a Virginia 1819 for Christmas and have started building it just recently. I’m getting close to adding the decking and hull planks, the instructions say that #16 is for the deck and #17 is the hull. Since the pieces aren’t numbered and the pictures don’t help I’m not sure which ones are 16and 17, there are very thin ones and thicker ones I’m guessing that the thicker ones are for the hull?

Is there also a description of the parts? I may give you the dimensions of the pieces.

Thanks for the reply but I believe I have it figured out. After looking at pictures of other builds it looks like the thicker planks are for the hull and the thin ones are for the deck.
