Walnut filament

What filament is everyone using for walnut pieces? Want to print Mouldings and nothing really looks right from Amazon.

I think you’ll struggle on that one and will be better off printing them in a light-ish colour, then either painting or dyeing and weathering. Whatever filament you use, it’ll look like plastic unless you work on it.

Another issue is trying to match a color or look from online illustrations. There could be a world of difference when you actually have the product in hand.
Like KevinW says, nothing is going to look good without some finishing.

Leather dyes is one route but keep in mind the dye won’t penetrate plastic, so you’re really just “painting” with dye medium. Artists inks can be used to similar effect. If you want to dye plastic filament you really need to be using a dispersion dye, as is done by the frisbee community.
