Hi can you please tell me how to determin where the waterline is on a model ship ? Thanks ian

Bounty had a copper plated hull. You should search though this forum for Bounty build logs.

Page 57 on the book you bought shows the waterline

The armed transport bounty

yes I’ve bought another book , to accompany my bounty build , will need to put another shelf up in my hobbies room , may have to get a beer cooler as well , can be very thirsty work modelling , and perhaps a glitter ball as well ,!!!
