The next stage means that starting Monday, and for at least three weeks, the Wawona will be sawed up at the Lake Union Drydock Company.



in this topic we will take a look at the WAWONA
 
Very sad that the money for historic preservation is so limited. It really irritates me that all of the obsolete when launched turkeys of the Iowa class battleships are still around when the Wawona, and the Wapama are gone and the USS Olympia is soon to follow.
 
the war ship models seem to be all the rage
we must consider the working boats the men who went to sea those who never returned the merchant and working ships are a big part of the story




 
Seems to be, that the Wawona is in a better shape (also the wooden hull), that the Peking was (although her hull construction in steel)
