It seems like a going a few steps backwards, requiring a lot of manpower which is the most expensive component these days. And it will have to be SAILED, not just driven like a powered ship. There have been experiments with rigid sails of some kind for more than 100 years, from the Flettner rotor ship
to this random modern proposal:
All of these have been unsuccessful due to cheap fuel, a lack of will to minimize ecological damage and the need to learn a new set of skills to use them effectively.
 
Also, manpower may be expensive but finding things for people to do when robots have replaced them is going to be an issue. Bill an around the world trip on a modern tall ship and you'd get a lot of people signing up!
