Ayous is also good for carving and because it is light and stift is also used for natural surfboards.I own a abachi cd-rack for about 700 cd's.No deformation , only color has changed from yellowish pale to more intensed pale. Practicaly you can think of it like a balsa wood but with much more impact resistance.
