Which glue to use.

I am about to plank my model of the Donald David, Maine lobster boat and, since the boat will have radio control for actual running in a pond/lake, I need to know what are the preferred glue(s), especially for the planking. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Titebond II Premium is a yellow PVA glue which I use for planking. It is water resistance. I assume you will be sealing the hull well against water after construction. Titebond III Ultimate is thicker, even more water resist, and appears to have some filler in it for filling cracks and holes.

Another is "Aliphatic Resin", very strong and water resistant. Can be purchased from "deluxematerials.com". I use this for all my wood.

I have heard of this before, but I have never seen Aliphatic Resin in any of the stores I typically shop. Is there another name it might go by? Probably I just need to pay closer attention.

Steven, I have used PVA glue for all types of planking, including RC models, with great results. Each application step has to be very dry to continue the work.
