Im thinking of making the Santa Maria. Should i go for the Amati or Artisania Latina kit? Im a middling builder, without modelling power tools (except a dremel). So please what are the pros and cons for each of them.

Hey Tony, Do you have experience with either/both brands? If there is one brand you've not tried yet, I would give that one a try.

the only artisania latina model ive made was the bounty jolly boat, which was a nice easy one to make.

Si te resultó sencillo el de Artesanía Latina, yo iría a por el de Amati pues es un nivel un poco superior, pero después no dudaría en hacer algo de Pavel Nikitin, pues son proyectos muy divertidos y no demasiado complicados.

If the Artesanía Latina project was easy for you, I would go for the Amati one because it is a slightly higher level, but then I wouldn't hesitate to do something by Pavel Nikitin, as they are very fun projects and not too complicated
