Here in Europe the modelers are often using the wood glue from Ponal, a prodcut from Henkel
Ponal Express is my usual white glue I am using, btw waterbased, so you can unglue easily when necessary
But I am also using the products from Tidebond, regular the CA-glues are very good

Don't throw away that Lineco. You will love the fast setting properties when you are working on some aspects of the ship. Especially the tiny bits...

I AGREE WITH PAUL I USE IT I AM USING IT TO GLUE THE FRAMES ON MY MINERVA ESPECIALLY WHERE THE CHOCKS ARE, NEED A PRETTY FAST SET THERE. GOD BLESS STAY SAFE4 ALL DON

Hi Michel, for the most part, all PVA glues are mostly the same. PVA stands for Poly Vinyl Acetate, they are homopolymer emulsions. However, based on the abbreviation above, D3 is a water-resistant standard, it is specially formulated to conform to EN 204 (D3).
OK, I do not know the glue standard. They have too the D2 version, may be this one fit better ?
D3 is mostly used for outside woodworking projects as it is water resistant, while the D2 standard is for inside-use projects. D3 and D2 are just standards, and how they hold parts together you may have to try. I like trying different glues for different jobs. Maybe you will be the first who try it?

Some of the "canopy glues" are excellent PVAs. Zap Canopy Glue and Microscale Kristal Klear are on my workbench. I was not familiar with Lineco but will give it a try. I am finding that I use PVAs more and more and CAs less and less.....
One card model glue, I believe is a PVA, that I am disappointed in is Roket Card Glue. It discolors with a brown tint. I have had two bottles "go bad" this way after about 9 months.

Thanks Brian. CA sometime create bad esthetic if we done some mistakes.
For PVA I use a hobby glue that is quick dry and high tack. Labeled Aileen’s Tacky Glue. The quick dry is not like ca but way faster that regular PVA typically used for wood projects. The tacky part means I can hold something in place for 15 seconds and will often stay in place until the glue dries completely. It is found in general hobby stores like Hobby Lobby and Joann’s, as well as Amazon (search Aileen’s Tacky Glue). My three go to glues I have used for the last three models and five years plus are the Aileen’s Tacky Glue PVA, CA medium, and more often CA gel. The CA gel is just as it sounds…a very very thick gel consistency.
