Well I wasn't sure where to post this so I put it here.
When I left the ex I left dang near everything there. Couldn't afford to store anything. Took all my painting and most of my scale models (Plastic)
Where I am living now for the time I use a corner of the dining area. (Thanks mum)
Here is the before and after. all that mess in before is my painting supplies.
After is both painting and now my "Dry Dock" area. I have a rig for overhead DSLR so I can start doing build logs.
Very happy with way things came together. YIPPIE!

Update:
Pop sent me the USS Constitution for my birthday 9 Years ago. 1 yr before he passed. I KNEW then I didn't know what I was doing nor where to start so it sat in my garage until I knew I would be able to.
The second photo are the ships I bought to get started. Just ordered the Albatros from OCCRE as the 5th in my order of build.
First the Shipways 3 intro models.
Then the Chesepeak Bay Flattie

Let me know what you think about my order of build strategy.

LOL I think you are ordering them MUCH faster than you can build them. LOL I have the same issue though so who am I to throw stones. ROTF
If you follow the order you have stated here, I think you will do great! Don't be in a hurry. Take your time and if you have questions, ask them.

That corner just shows what a neat tidy hobby this is. Only uses a minimum of space, quite housetrained really.

I think you have a ways to go to catch me. ROTF
I had about twice that amount I left behind when I left my ex. Sadly. It was so bad I just walked away from everything. sigh, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!

:) thanks btw for the encouragement. I took advantage of the sale prices and before the tariffs take effect. Most of the stuff I ordered were tools and we all know where those come from. So.... get ahead of the problem. I know I have enough to build to get me through the tariff bs.

LOL My wife just last night asked me "do all ship model builders have this many clamps?" My reply was that the usual reply is "you can never have too many or too many types of clamps."

Looks good. There's something about building a ship in a small place. On my side I have a new house for me and my handicapped son. Got some room. Need to collect cash to create a workshop. Till then I am A Kitcen Table Shipwright.....
