1:96 Revell USS Constitution

Very good looking model and work
Is the deck planking some wooden veneer? Lasered? or how you did the deck planking? Looking very good , especially in this small scale

Okay here we are up to date 07/23/2020
Started on the rigging a couple days ago. Thanks to a friend I'm waiting to install the rat lines. Has made things easier so far not having to work around them.

Did you have any alignment issues with the mizzen mast? (You're doing a great job.) I put the scale deck on my build and am waiting for the carronade carriages from HiS on the spar deck. Several of the pin rails were broken, so am also awaiting some 6mm belaying pins to correct that issue.
Thanks doing my best.
I did. I have not glued the masts in place. Using the standing rigging to adjust them. Seems to be working. The pictures you will notice the main mast skewed. It spun on me when it hit the back drop and I did not notice it until I saw the pictures. It's fixed now

Very good looking version of this model. The Connie is one of my favorite ships (I'm originally from Boston} and have been on board her many times. I have the Revell kit I started in the mid 60's that I have schlepped all over the country and saved what is left of it because the color scheme was mostly white then and I would go aboard take some photos and match what I saw. When I build the wooden version I will do it that way.
