4'' Table Saw - Byrnes Model Machines - my version of the configuration

That is a very nice tool but more spendy than I can afford but I see a great difference from the Proxxon FET that I just received and am having troubles in understanding how to make micro adjustments with the fence or what they call longitudinal guide. And with my poor eyesight having to bend low to see the settings, such as they are, is a problem. Life is not what you were expecting when making other plans. PT-2

PT-2, send it to me and I will use it for my work if you cant get it working for you.

Ha Ha, hope you get it figured out soon.

Yes, I have to do that as I went over my pocket load of shekels in the past month becoming addicted to the attraction of ships to build, tools to do that better than just hand carving and drilling, not to mention the added candy of the canoe which I ordered from Gilles and now the lumber order to place tomorrow after verifying the species of mahogany from Northestern Scale Lumber or opting for cherry. Speaking of which, if I had a real band saw to quarter and cut limbs from our Sherofujin Cherry tree which I removed last week, I could try entering the big boy lumber trade and not pay others added shipping costs. There is no bottom to this quick sand hole it seems. So I need to learn the Proxxon to paddle ahead with the other mini-toys now in my overcrowded large drafting table/ converted work surface in the garage while hand work continues in my Fibber Maggie and Molly's den/man cave. And to think that I have committed to exactly more than one project at a time that I started with . PT-2
