Well finally got started in new hobby room sorting and organizing stuff moved from old house and storage!

Assembled wire shelf and stacked ship model kits and supplies on it

Not all that I have buts it’s the main part of my collection except for books.



My new place came with old portable school room that is 22’ x 30’ inside and the Admiral its all mine for hobbies ( none allowed in house now). So ship work will get one side and my HO model trains will fill the remainder of space.

Photos show space with piles of train stuff just moved for now! And this is about 1/4 of my model stuff! Much still in storage or shop area next door!

And along with nice workroom I got a two car size shop building and nice house to hold the Admiral in, with a fire place she has wanted! We both won out on wishes with this house find!

I'd love to have that much space. I could fit the Machine shop and shipyard in that space.

so you will need a lot of new additional power tools to make this room more comfortable.....
and one area for the couch, with TV and fridge....... and a billiard table ....

I agree, can’t ever have enough space for a layout. My basement space started to shrink when we had to add the furnace, the oil tank, the water heater, the well pump, the clothes washer, the dryer and storage shelves, etc. But, I did manage to hold on to a 11 X 30 foot space, by providing the Admiral with shelving underneath the layout.

That is larger than my garage and half of my house --- that is a super "man cave" - like Zoltan said, now we have a place to hold our annual SOS conferences in.
You have enough room for couch, a bar area to serve drinks, and all the amenities - so when is our first meeting?
