About a year ago (b4 covid) I ordered a Soleil royale from Max. It was missing one piece... I inventoried the whole thing down to the last nail... IIt actually had an inventory list... I was so dumb founded at that one.... this is how it should be.. and he made it right.. thank you Max

Yes Max from ZHL models has a great after sales service on anything thats missing from the box. I have ordered from him multiple times with excellent mail order service.
only problem i had with zhl was supplied flag quality. was only printed on one side with colors left to bleed through to other with poor results. requested replacement from max and after a few e mails back and forth got sent another flag. it was worse than the first. gave up and bought one from cornwall model boat company.
Almost all kits have flags that are printed on one side. Its better to purchase aftermarket ones for your model.

kind of my point. why bother sending poor quality parts in what is proposed to be a quality kit. send proper parts with your kits, i dont mind spending an extra 5 bucks instead of having to send away for better quality at an additional cost plus shipping. if you have seen the zhl flags they look like either their laser jet printer is on its last legs or they dumpster dived at the model flag company to get the throw aways.
first of april, aprils fools, day... Trying to finish a Mamoli (ugh) victory....which has been nothing but a battle... no pun intended... they shorted me on everything....and people wonder why I have an attitude... (see previous posts) I've spent more on accessories than on the kit itself... Ken...bro..., Do you need a hug? You all over the place trashing Mamoly. Victory generally is not an easy model to build with no difference in who is the kit manufacturer is. Why can't you simply stop building Victory for time being, and start something else? A simple short-term project, from the kit manufacturer you like, should hopefully bring back you in a good mood and enjoy the hobby, rather than struggle. Maybe one day, you will return to your Victory and look from a different angle.
Check those kits out. A bit more than $100 bucks, you will enjoy the build. I love this manufacturer...and good scale to show details
