Mr Deep. I visited the Ali-Express site you provided the link. Looks like ZHL produces them differently now. They looks great.

Best!!

These are the decoration of two different ships
Your link was towards the HMS Royal Caroline and Mr.Deep towards the spanish San Felipe - so two different carving sets

In the video with the close up the "carvings" are even looking much better - or should we say "millings" to this ornaments

Es, increíble, pero más increíble es que hay personas que a mano alzada puedan fabricar estas esculturas igual de bonitas o incluso mejor

It is, incredible, but more incredible is that there are people who can make these sculptures freehand just as beautiful or even better

Ahoy Ladies and Gentlemen !

The designing and making of decorations to the ship model is not such simple as it seems.
There are many things you can do when you know the basics of software. But to this necessary is the time. TIME TIME TIME.

Designing of all decors to the model SOLEIL ROYAL, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS or VASA will occupy about 15-18 months for one person. To this it is necessary to add the working hours of machines CNC for tests - minimum 500 hours

Jimsky wrote: The resin (printed) shouldn't be very expensive, It's true, that the 3D printout is much cheaper than CNC milling. Only a project is needed first. :D

If SOMEONE is seriously interested in decorations for the models ..... for example: "Sovereign of The Seas, "Soleil Royal" SZKUTNIK TEAM CAN DO IT. But we need 2-3 years on the realization of the project.

I totally get it. That's a lot of investment of time and resources! Plus, you have to have something to work from. And it has to fit the model. I don't think I can wait two or three years. ;)
