US Frigate Essex - 1:50 [COMPLETED BUILD]

I have completed the boat and hung on the hooks through the inboard eyelets. I attached those clamps as weights to stretch the lines and applied dilute PVA on the lines. I will remove the weights after the glue dries.58.jpg59.jpg60.jpg

Looking very good - great appearance

Maybe the boat should hang a little bit higher?
Seems that the keel of the boat is close to the waterline, so during sailing waves could hit the boat
This is just a feeling, so please check this fastly ....

I totally agree with you Uwe. The boat should be in a slightly higher position, but I didn't want the lifeboat blocking the rear windows.

Beautiful, aesthetically pleasing. In reality, the boat should be lifted as much as possible by hoists up to the crane beams. The boat is very rigidly attached with slings, it is fixed. To eliminate chattering, stress it on the hull of the ship. Otherwise, everything will break to hell. Therefore, leave it as it is.
