I have started Capt. Jack Sparrow's Black Pearl 1:96.
I got this kit second-handed for an unbelievable low price. I think it will be a good learning project to do some weathering on it.

Thank you for sharing! I was using steel wool with vinegar before, the result certainly was not good as I expected.

Some updates for my 1:96 black pearl build. I used coffee grind and tacky glue for the barnacles, I think the result is not bad. weathering on the hull is done, moving forward to the masts.

Hi all shipwrights,
Finally I have finished building my first black pearl. I rushed planking for filming the video, the blocks were out of scale but I could NOT find any smaller ones sooner. However, I think the final result turns out to be good.
