@MICHELE PADOAN For let the wood look like that you use first shellac and the you use beeswax mixed with Judea Bitun. The beewax is made of boiled linseed oil? And is it 1 part pure melted beewax and 4 parts oil? And a little part of bitun, I guess.

This is brilliant carved work, and it is fascinating how light the quarter gallery framing really is. Also interesting is your gold treatment, which appears to resemble the faux gold painting techniques of the times. Bellissimo!
