Nice work. Since this is a steel hulled ship but construction is plank wood on frame how did you get it smooth enough to simulate the steel hill? Thanks. Lou

Well, that's easy. Once the hull is finished, you have to sand it ,at least a couple of times, so that it´s very smooth. After this you have to give it a good layer of putty. You sand it again very well and then all that remains is painting. It´s a laborious task but with patience everything is done. I'll post photos of how it looks.

No, it isn´t. It´s a SALVAT-HACHETTE Kit (fascicles).

Well. In centimeters it measures 120, so in inches it would be more or less 47.25, I think so.
